Someone's location is irrelevant if they so chose to take part in a discussion. I am also a bit concerned about this hosting of 'guided tours.' And Sochill, you should never cut a hole through a fence. If you can't climb over it, leave it alone. What's next? Breaking a window to get inside cause it won't open? Come on. This thread is making me cringe.

Noted Viper and I agree, I will contain my cynical wit, Hopefully Agent Nox can bury the hatchet, or douse the flame I will. As for "guided tours" its more a matter of leaving the cyber world and meeting in person. Whats the big deal?

Hmm, probably should finally get around to checking the place out now if there are no dogs just guards, its only 10 min from here and i've known about it for 2 years lol. about damn time i got around to paying it a friendly visit, just need to find time

And barbed wireis very easy to get around, its that nasty razor wire that i hate. Learn how to climb or stop being lazy. Cutting is just going to draw attention and make it harder to ever get in again

Its one thing to be caught in a building trespassing, its antother to be caught in a building trespassing, with cutters (B&E tool), and a nice big hole cut in the fence.

I was just at woodlands yesturday, they have now got only a couple security officers but no dogs anyore, every building has a chainlinked fence with barbed wire around it. me and my friends managed to cut a hole in it and we went through the main front building and the pool building, including that hatched off room under the pool. Still cant manage to find the tunnals though.

(without sounding to critical.) If you had just walked around a bit, you would have found spots where there are gates with locks and chains on them. stand on those locks and chains, and it's easy to squeeze through. I don't want to discourage you from UEing, unless cutting holes in fences is a regular thing for you.
What's with giving Team Leader a hard time here folks? is this how we welcome someone with initiative to meet people? Woodlands is a fine place to meet explorers you have never met, and learn about others UEing morals and abilities. but that is just my opinion.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too!

You're a fucking idiot. Stop vandalizing and go back to watching Dora, that's the only exploring you should be doing. Remember - it's "Swiper, no swiping!".

Whoa, crossfire that's a little harsh. I agree with the message you're sending, but not the way it was conveyed.

Personally, I think it's more productive to advise new explorers why their actions were wrong, and give legitimate examples (ie legal implications, increased security if the hole is noticed etc.)

From Sochill's response he has obviously learned that cutting fences and other such actions are frowned upon, and promised not to do such a thing again. For that I applaud him. I assume crossfire has seen his profile and noted the age he posted, thus the Dora reference. I wasn't into UE when I was 15, and would have probably gone on the defensive if I were in his position on this thread. Instead he took the mature route.

I'm not one for exploring with minors, no matter how mature they are (no offense Sochill), but I think more can be learned through justifying an opinion of an improper action rather than dragging someone over the coals. Let's face it, Sochill is here, he's active, and some of his friends are probably active too. The best we can do is react to such things in an informative way instead of lecturing and berating.

I'm not about to counsel a minor on how to get into any location, but if we see something deemed inappropriate it's better to leave a definite, reasonable and respectful reason for why such actions are unacceptable.

To do otherwise (in my opinion) can lead to an "us vs. them" mentality that won't solve the problem at all. It could very well lead to making life more difficult for the rest of us.

yeah i realized that after i made that post, when i made it i was going to make it a private forum. no one really goes on there other then us, you would have to search in woodlands which not too many people do on nexopia. anyways, is it a a big deal that the forum is there in the first place? am i breaking anymore rules of some sort?

Not breaking any rules, but it didn't make you look great...

I'd remove the link you put as homepage on your profile here, since it now points to the private forum and that's just pointless...

Its interesting how the community sort of protects itself a little by doing research. Nexopia, and other forums regularly pop up in google searches for various words so if woodlands or EU is mentioned and someone has the patience or interest and the time to search through the 100 or 200 hits, eventually it will turn up. Sochill, I dont buy the thing where this is the first time scenario... you bought bolt cutters or something strong enough to cut the fence just for this one time at woodlands? And then brought some girls to show them how cool it is? I am sceptical. But I also agree the best way for us is to guide rather then alienate you. And probably we can learn a thing or two from you and your friends too. So I think it would be great for you to read some of the etiquette of EU'ing in the forum. I think most people follow the rule of take only pictures and leave only..... nothing.. dont leave a damb thing!!! especially not graf saying "hot virgin was here" in woodlands, as a tag which is coincidentally also, one of your nexopia buddies. points the finger right back at you or your buddy which means the, i only cut a fence once thing is also questionable. I just noticed the pic with the sooooofuckinchill tag, an obvious reference to sochill. I think the bolt cutters were required to keep the 3 young ladies you brought from having to exert themselves too much??? I agree with the spirit of meeting other UE'ers

I don't know about your guys, but that pic of the tagging seals it, this kid should be banned from UER. Becuase of him, chances are this place is now runined (abit one wall, but still, that is more then there should be)

Kids need to get it in the face, this kid was showing the place off to some chics. Sorry pal, but in my rule book thats stupid.

Now, after a couple links, i came across this "comment" by your friend Sniper about the rent-a-cop car.

It does suck a bit doesn't it? What some people think is cool others find horrifying. Only one person can set this right and that is sochill. Sochill, go back and fix the fence, erase your graffiti ( if it indeed is yours ), and keep your exploring to you and maybe some serious minded explorer. If you are sincere the situation can right itself. N.
