| | | Posted by BishopxShakur Also this is a bit off topic but when I was an extra in another movie in Sanford (where they had a huge carnival set up in the parking lot of an abandon strip mall) we got to hang out in an abandon movie theater between filming. the place had catering and all that other crap. If you want to do good UE become an actor hah.

I remember that carnival. They had it up for a year or so. The movie was about a guy that could start fires with his mind if I remember correctly. That strip mall is no longer abandoned. It's pretty much filled up with stores now.

| | | Posted by lokiplease I'm curious [of course, we already knew that; that's pretty much why I'm a member of this forum]. Is anyone here very experienced in the infiltration/exploration of active amusement parks? I was in Disney recently, and though I didn't explore much [I was with my family, so I didn't want to risk being kicked out of the park], there were definitely plenty of behind-the-scenes spots I'd like to access. Everyone has heard of the secret underground tunnel systems and such...apparently they even offer a tour, but that doesn't quite count as exploration. What are the risks involved in this type of exploration? I imagine multimillion-dollar enterprises wouldn't want you holding them at fault if you're hurt, so security would be tight. I also took notice of a lot of doors with complicated-looking locks. How difficult is amusement park infiltration...and if you're successful, what is there to see?
|
i used to work there and have explored MANY areas/rides/back areas/attics/crawl spaces.....oh the stories i could tell my friend and i called ourselves the back area kings...all you needed was a putty knife to get in doors that were locked. i carried one all the time because when i was hired, i worked in custodial. instead of scraping gum with it, i was unlocking doors to restricted areas.

I remember that place. Very vaguely though. Went there as a little kid. All I remember about the place was that they had a stocked pond where you caught rainbow trout and they then cleaned and cooked them for you to eat. [last edit 11/6/2006 2:32 AM by forgottenFL - edited 1 times]

| | | ohi got pics.....so many. Is right, like Shane said, the view from the top of the JP ride is amazing. I got pics backstage and the tunnels of disney, backstage almost everywhere, animatronics of JP ride, Control rooms and ride control systems, etc. workign in a park is the best UEing experience. and once u work lets say Magic Kingdom, u get a ID card, and with it you can go pretty much anywhere in Disney
