Abandoned POW Camp in Fairfax County?

I heard through an Email at work, somewhere on Shirley Gate between 29 and Braddock (that general area) is a old POW Camp for the german soldiers that is going to be torn down soon. Anyone have any info, as google is not supporting me in searching.

I'd like to get to it before it gets developed.

You need to Google harder than that

Here is a list of camps in MD + Va that housed German POWs:

Virginia (9)
Camp Ashby
Camp Lee
Camp Peary
Camp Pickett
Fort Curtis
Fort Eustis
Fort Patrick Henry
Hampton Roads Port of Embarkation
Richmond ASF Depot

Maryland (5)
Camp David
Camp Somerset
Edgewood Arsenal
Fort Meade
Holabird Signal Depot

That should get you started....

This isn't boot camp and you are not a ninja. But you sure look like an idiot in that outfit.
