Especially if your half intelligent and stay out of the light.

Stay out of the light ? Like be sneaky and stealthy n shit ? Why do that, that's not gonna work, that's just silly...

Exactly.

Next time you climb over a 12 foot tall fence topped with Razor wire, then climb to a second floor window to get into a secure site, don't try to hide cause it's silly. When you get caught, just say you accidentally wandered in.

I was just wondering why the collar on the MARPAT uniforms are like that? Looks like the took it from the movies.

Anyways, I like my CADPAT suits where we are, and I hear that we're finally designing an urban CADPAT for us. Good for me cause where I'd go would be on an airfield around buildings anyways.

The fake cadpat is just a slightly different pattern (to avoid trademark infringement). Also I'm pretty sure fakes won't have the nvg coating on them. Also for both real and fake they fade fast and even faster if you wash them, I believe CF's are issued a new pair every 6 months.

Ha, yeah right. People have theirs for years now, and the real ones do fade if washed incorrectly. I'd guess you can keep the fake stuff looking good too by washing them inside-out on cold.

The reason why the CADPAT (and most lieky MARPAT too) is so hard to find in that it has IR qualities that are classified and they don't want the wrong people to get their hands on it.

Basic BDU's have the same thing on it. If you buy band new BDU's from the US they will do the same, but loose there effectiveness after a few washes.

The reason you cant find CAD/MARPAT is there is such a demand for it in the military. The copycats (asian canadian etc) wear out to fast, and the US government doesnt have everyone in these uniforms yet. When they do you will see more and more hitting the market. Probably about 2 more years or so.

I dated an MP for a year and a half, and he was issued only one new combat uniform that entire time. (Because he was an MP instructor at Borden he wore combats rather than the MP patrol dress to work every day, and thus worked through them at the same rate as any other trade in the forces.)

that's right! they have rifles!

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too!

How much noise does canvas make? I'm thinking about getting myself a pair of Carhart coveralls, the kind utility workers often wear. It seems like it's a canvasesque material.

Id stay away from tiger stripe personally. Unless your in a jungle or want to be a angry know it all ninja(some reason most people in tiger stripe usually do martial arts and are asses).

tiger stripe from what I know is only really good in a forrest/jungle and while your staying still, then you are moving it ruins the point of them and they are just like any other camo

Its only really good in jungle. The forest has to much vertical, and the digital now makes it obsolete.

c'mon .... you will not be stealty with a big green camo suit into urban, anyways just like some says, just stay of the light and try to not make much noise while walking (proprely) and wear some dark cloth and BINGO ! What will you look like if some one find you... a freaking terrorist or something criminal. But if you get caught with some civil dark cloth, you will just look like a poor UE get been caught.

You do realize that not everyone lives in large cities, some heavily secured abandonments and active sites are also in the woods. The whole, "you will look like a terrorist" BS is getting old. One persons useless concept is someone elses perfect technique.

Until you do something pretty secured, or semi dangerous to get caught on you will not appreciate camo.

*off-topic note:
though abandoned is extremely cool
high security/active is so much more exciting than abandoned, due to the added adrenaline
but i guess everyone's taste is different

Very true I prefer active sometimes, but find abandoned just as interesting for other reasons. There is a distinction between the two and the reasons differ from each person. Shorting one side or technique just shows ignorance. I hate the ninja only group as much as the I am so cool watch my jedi mind tricks get me out of trouble group.
