	No, I don't need "real" radios, since most of the time we are only 100ft - 200ft apart, and just need something quieter than yelling. Anyway, my current Uniden GMRS radios use NiMH batteries, but the problem is that when they are finished charging, they don't stop charging. The light stays on forever, and the product manual says to unplug them after 16 hours of charging. I just want some radios that will be like a cellphone or a laptop, and will stop charging when the battery if full. I like to leave my radios on the base stations when I'm not using them, but I'd rather not destroy the batteries by leaving them charging 24/7 365. Anyone have a pair or know of a pair that does this? I was looking at these: http://www.circuit...d/productDetail.do We use those at work, and I love them, but since they're never on the charge stations, we're always using them, I have no way of testing my desire. 	Personally I like the Motorolas, they are normally more then enough for most places.. I am 90% sure they have a killswitch in the charger.. the people I normally wander with all use random models of TalkAbouts.. Live to Serve, Serve to Live..

	I could be wrong here, but as far as a I know, anything with a Lithium Ion battery should stop charging when it is full. They have circuitry to prevent them from being overcharged because they can explode when overcharged.

Wouldn't that depend on if you have some oddball battery back in it or AA/AAA?
