	Hey, I hope such requests are acceptable here. I'm a freelance writer and creative writing student looking for a few good explorers to interview for an article about alternative ways people connect with urban environments. Right now, the piece is for a creative non-fiction class I'm taking at UBC, but I'm hoping to pitch the idea to Geist or the Straight. Basically, I want to look at ways people explore their cities that aren't about tourist attractions or where to get the best latte - stuff like John Atkin's walking tours and UE. As someone who isn't an explorer, I'm wary of trying to vulture from underground subcultures... At the same time, I think some of Ninjalicious's ideas - especially stuff about encountering local environments with a sense of wonder - are pretty useful and inspiring regardless of how subversive (and risky) people want to be. 	Did you email me about this already ? I got 6 diffeent interview requests within 3 days and didn't get around to replying to any... was just busy. but if you did, or didn't, you can email me and probably set something up. It requires wisdom to understand wisdom: the music is nothing if the audience is deaf.
