|  | | | The last remaing cottage at woodlands. At one point many of these building were found on the property and housed a large number of people in varying conditions from high security to low risk. How the building resembles a cottage in any way is beyond me, they are a lock down facility designed to limit movement and restrict freedom. Its like calling a sewage holding tank a lagoon. In later years the building became a battered womens shelter, which worked I imagine becuase as well holding people in like any good prison it also kept people out. So it remains the last lonely "cottage" on the site. It is fairly easy to gain entrance, however the building is occupied , The first night we gained entrance we came face to face with one individual who was none to pleased by our presence. One person is not so much of a problem to deal with. The problem occurs when you are confronted in a bottleneck in the basement with someone behind you and an unknown numbers of individuals in front of you. Disconcering to say the least, regardless we did go back the next night. This time around we only came across one fiend in the basement. As we were on the third floor working our way down to the second he met us again this time frothing at the mouth and agro, I gave him a couple of smokes he calmed down and became almost friendly. We made our way out into the good air once again. Give it a go this site can't last much longer. T.L.
