I think I like #1 the best. There is something disorienting about it, but I think that works. Extremely dark and threatening in a subtle way.

#2 would unbearably boring, EXCEPT for that inverted corner running around the cieling on the left, which makes the interplay of the shadows really interesting. You see almost the same composition all the time, but this is probably one of the better executions I've seen because of that detail.

Overall, pretty good stuff, I have trouble coming up with any specific criticism.

The most pedestrian display of photographic material I've seen in a long time; almost juvenile in it's attempt.

I got your tour winner right here pussies, at least he'd crash out trying.

Some great pics here. #4 doesn't quite do it for me, doesn't have a strong subject. But I'm just nit picking at this point.

Good work.

Number 6 and 5 are great, what a cool picture, a disused flume!!! I also like numbers 3 and four, the retro look of the locations and the fact that they are empty rather than devastated gives it a slow melancholy quality.

Urban Explorers always take the red pill...

No, you've got a point there. I was playing with angles a bit and wasn't sure if things got pulled off in the right manner there.

Flumes are fun...especially walking up them. ;)

Thanks to everyone else for the encouragement and other words (Dukes...I'll get you at The Pines my friend)

I was just joking around of course; good stuff; the only thing I would say, and I'm no expert, just from the viewers perspective; in one, three and four, there is a wall or door or other object distracting the eye.
Exposure is great you've "exposed for the highlights" and let the shadows take care of themselves.
Great!

is that water slide in Gettysburg?

I am jealous of some the places you have been Haunted PA. I like the moods you have captured.

Nope...it's in South Carolina actually. Whole water park closed down. Had much fun there.

I think there is just too much empty space pon the left hand side. I find the rusty towel dispenser interesting, but I don't think it balances enough.

3.
I like this one, but i think you would have done better with a vertical composition. The space in the foreground on either side of the door is wasted, as it adds little to the image. I love the subtle colors that are going on in the next room and perhaps better framing them through the doorway (or window) would ignite your composition.

6. You nailed this one. My favorite.

You know now that I look at it more with that mindset you've got something there for sure. Maybe the next trip out there I'll hit paydirt with that shot ;) At the time I couldn't get the tripod to go vertical for some reason, but to be honest I never even thought about doing it for that shot.

Been my fav for a long time...thanks.
