| | | | Of these four, the first and third are my favorites. The lack of context in #1 gives some mystery. #4 is interesting because the color is so intense and contrasting with all the darkness. I stared at it a while before I understood that it was just a hideous coat of paint and not some really bizarre lighting.
The first three are all very well composed, but #4 kind of points your eye out of the frame. #2 could use a little wider DOF, and there is some distracting thing in the foreground, almost like a nasty scratch on your lens. The subject matter of these shots just doesn't do much for me, though as a rule I do like macro shots.
