I was wondering if anybody knows anything about this building. I've been doing some research on it. Eventually I would like to get in there.

I had been by there a couple of months ago and noticed they were doing some work on it (or so it appeared to me) I was thinking it'd be a decent place to poke around in myself.. I don't know much in the way of info on it though...

Cheers!

I've done some research on it myself now. It seems it was sold to a another company in '87 after it went into receivership and it was slated for demolition. I got that info from one of the local archives. I talked to almost very department at city hall. Nothing there. One lady didn't even know it was still standing. They don't even know who owns it now.

I think I found the ideal way to get in. It's just a matter of setting something up.

Im live in Abby. The building was bought by a developer who is going to be demo'ing it pretty soon. Its pretty unstable inside right now because they have been gutting it. A friend and I went to check it out the other day and to get a feel for the one security gaurd they have there. Hes a nice old guy and he kinda gave us a tour so to say from the outside. Anyway they have had a lot of theft ocurig there lately so they are quite alert. Anyway If you wanna check it out go for it. I donno how stable the building is though.

I aslo have a friend who used to work there back in the day and it seemed like not only the place, but the staff was quite 'interesting' too.

When I lived in Abby from 2000-2002, I would often drive by and see different lights on every time I drove by. One night there would be 1 window with a light on. The next night, there would be 5 windows with lights on. Other nights, there were no lights at all. I often wondered who was in there and what they were doing, but never actually stopped to find out.

Well, I went in there a few weeks ago with a buddy. Didn't go very far, but we're planning on going back. I'll post the images when we do.
