As for membership; unless I'm mistaken, if you're posting in the forum you can write up an entry for the database. I don't think you need to be a full member to add DB entries(I think they actually suggest adding a few entries to the database before applying for full membership).

It seems you need full membership to add database entries. I tried adding an entry only earlier today, and it won't let me.

You see there are two separate tunnel systems that are rumored to be linked,
one is the unb tunnel system, which is a Utility/Steam tunnel. And there is the fredericton tunnel system, which has a lot of history associated with it, that i will go into in more detail when i publish my findings.

The problem is, that the fredericton tunnel system has long since been shut, all the entrances are supposedly blocked off. So we are having some problem getting access to it. I would even begin to doubt they exist if it wasn't for the amount of people who talk about them, and the consistency in their stories.

Anyways, please help me become a member so i can show you what i have thus far.

There is an entrance in the boiler room of Montgomery St. Elementary School. The last time that I was down there (almost 20 years ago) there was a locked gate over the entrance. From what I was told, the tunnel went to the hospital. Part of that tunnel was supposedly blocked when they built the french school Ecole St. Anne. I assume these tunnels were used for steam pipes. I would guess that the school and other buildings connected to the tunnel system shared the steam plant at the hospital, or the possibly the university. Any one have any definite info on the use of these tunnels?

Nues, I was just down in the tunnels between STU and the Hospital today. I think that you might be right about the Fredericton tunnel system running up there is right. In the UNB there is a spot that is bricked up with cinder blocks and it looks like there is a red brick tunnel behind them. I took some photos with my phone unfortunately i had it set to the smallest picture quality, here are the pictures of the place I am talking about. Im planning to go back and take better pictures later.

The hart shoe factory has been renovated or is almost done being renovated. Id be interested in hitting up the old train station with you sometime... pm me?

You shake my hand, say “pleased to meet you.” Look me in the eye, I don’t believe you. TUI, as long as I’m still alive. I live despite you. Realize I’m not one of your kind, I’m nothing like you.
