Errmmm... Be super careful. Gweilo with camera in secret place not appreciate sometimes.
Still, Shang has some great stuff just on the streets! Start perhaps in the French Concessions and look for places like this:
You can generally walk in and around without too much hassle. But I would not be going into areas that looked too sus. Have fun. Neko.
