| | | I'm going to be in and around UBC for a short while and I couldn't find evidence of any exploring done around campus. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any previous exploration around UBC that they could direct me to or suggestions of cool places to check out around campus while I'm there.

| | | Isn't there a link somewhere on www.infiltration.org that has a list of campus steam tunnels?

| | | There were some guys on here that were exploring around there, but I can't remember their names... I'll try to look it up later and post who they are for you, so you can try PM'ing them and see if they can help you.

| | | I know someone who's been in some of the steam tunnels there. He's out of town for a few days, I'll ask him when he gets back into town about them for you. Cheers! -PoT

| | | You could always check out the the old Gun Turret beside the Museum of Anthropology for lack of anything else, or go down to tower beach.

| | | I have two options for UBC, if you like to play the piano, the music department is often left unsecure late at night and there are few people around, I have managed to get into the auditorium 3 times and play their steinways. Nothing to write home about until you realize a steinway runs $90 000cdn. Also, There was an article in the vancouver sun 2 years agao about a historical house, which was being vacated due to the risk of it falling down a cliff because of errosion. It was owned by UBC. IT wasnt going to be torn down. just left empty as it had heritage status. ive wanted to hit that target ever since but have not managed to find it during 5 visits to the campus. i have been searching mostly from the wreck beach point towards kits. Anyone have info or into searching some more id be in.

| | | Could it be around towards Wreck Beach? Do you remember the structures that used to be along the cliff in front of the museum of anthropology? I can barely remember what they looked like. Probably something wartime.N.

| | | its not a war time structure. they had a picture of the house and it looked victorian complete with porches and such. from the description in the article it was sort of secluded on its own without much around it. the high quality maps link doesnt let me click on ubc to check it out. maybe the satelite maps might have more .. ill start looking into that

| | | Cool, yeah the structures I was talking about actually disappeared a long time ago, I think they removed them because they were about to fall off of the cliff. I was just wondering if you had seen them.N.
