That could be an old Route 66 bridge, there are a lot of websites you could check to find out...

Flatspin:

In Tulsa did you encounter any old hand laid stone (territorial era) viaducts, water sewers, basements? Need a photo location for medieval castle catacombs. thanks Gary garythomas891@hotmail.com

I'm from down by Lawton. There are several good sites down here, but much more rural in nature. Lots of these small towns are dying fast. Also a lot of mining and quarry sites west here.

Glad to know there are some others in OK out scrounging around.

Hello,
I grew up in Tulsa and I am in Plano,TX now. My favorite place as a kid was the area around my grandparents cabin in Locust Grove, OK., a great place to find fossils, abandoned farm houses, caves etc.

Like everyone else in Dallas, I'm originally from Tulsa. Strange how that works out.

But I got my underground start in Stillwater, exploring the steam tunnels between the buildings of Oklahoma State -- in 1986. Only made two good runs, but I darn sure thought it was cool. I went all the way from Kerr-Drummond residence hall to the school's physical plant (where I heard people working and had to duck back into the tunnel). I hardly even had to bend over, the tunnels were tall and well-lighted and ventilated.

On the second run, after I felt a bit more confident, I turned a different way and ended up in an older section, where I had to make my way bent over. I ended up under a manhole cover that turned out to be conveniently located behind some bushes! You can imagine that I figured I was king of the (under)world.

On the third try, I ended up back in my room, nursing a nasty cut on my forehead from failing to respect the power of dangling pipe hanger bolts. Oops.

But I did manage to explore an old dorm building that was scheduled for demolition (or refurbishment, I can't recall). If I'd been there more than just one semester -- ah, the joys and sorrows of tequila -- there's no telling what experiences I'd have had. Or the jail time I'd have served...

I have no idea if you can still get into the tunnels, though I suspect it's a lot harder now. OTOH, I didn't have the Internet back then, either (though I could fake out a 300-baud modem by whistling into the phone). But without violating the TOS, I would suggest getting a job in the cafeteria, and then getting stuck in the basement washing dishes.

J'ai toujours fait une prière à Dieu, qui est fort courte.
La voici: "Mon Dieu, rendez nos ennemis bien ridicules!"
Dieu m'a exaucé.

I'm from Oklahoma but I live in Germany right now. I come home about twice a year. I'm from the Tulsa area. One of the areas I want to explore but never manage to find is an old WWII POW camp in Broken Arrow. If anyone knows where this is located, let me know. I've been looking for it for years.
