| | | also just to let you knwo i ordered a pair, just email them from the website, and they will gove you directions on how to order them right from japan. There Great amazing quality, but watch out for sizes, only 2 or 3 pairs come in size 11 and 12 mens(the ones with L beside the name) all the rest only go up to size 10 mens. later

| | | thats realy bizarre, it usally take them a day to respond to be because of teh time diffrence, but i had no problem, try this email: sfujiki@marugo.ne.jp got the shoes yesterday, and they are stupid comfortable, but watch out, shipping is a killer there. It only takes a week from when they ship it once they get your money [last edit 8/29/2003 10:50 AM by rinse - edited 1 times]

| | | Hey, but they're ISO 9001 Certified! I wonder if their idea of a size 12 is a little big or a little small... I have 13s so maybe they'd still fit me...

| | | You have to be careful of them because they have that split toe thig in the front for your big toe, Maknig it easier to snag on something and break your toe off.

| | | Having worn Tabi a great deal, the only problem similar I've experienced was getting some of the thin prickle bush vines we have in abundance here caught between the toes.

| | | How do they compare to rock climbing shoes? I've never worn either, but I figure it's worth a try. Has anyone found a domestic distributor?

Both have the flexibility which aids in climbing, but the tabi has the split toe, which I have found to be a big benefit. You can buy tabi at all sorts of martial arts supply shops. But the selection is very limited, which is why I want to find out about the place mentioned at the start of this thread...

| | | Do you wear tabi socks, toe socks, or regular socks, Jester? If I wear size 13 boots, but have a tight fit in 12, which size tabi do I want? Maybe you should sell tabi on your website, instead of cafeepress stuff.

| | | If I could... I would. The sizing is weird. I wear a 7 1/2 in north americam sizing, but a 10.7 in Tabi... I wear Tabi socks, though toe socks would work just as well. I ended up sewing myself some winter tabi socks out of a pair of thermal socks I had. They actually make my Tabi fit perfectly. With the normal thin Tabi sock, they were a touch loose. The fit is very important, and should be snug.

| | | hey guys, just to let everyone know, that I take a size 12 and they are big on me, so i can see them being a tiny bit tight with size 13, plus the only ones that come in 12 are canvasy cotton, so they will stretch a bit. and i wear a size 13 skateboard shoe shoe, and these tabi shoes are big in 12. The Jog 12L have a sick botton with hooked treads so the can grip wire, I have just recently had to hope a 15 foort high chain fence NO PROB. and people if you can get hold of these guys they are legit, i was a little worried myself, but they came through and there great!! Take care

| | | Is that the Matsuri Jog 12 L or the Proguard Jog 12 L? I found a table of shoe size conversions. For men's shoes, you can add 18 to the American size to get the Japanese size. So a 12 here is a 30 (or 30cm) there.
