| | | I found out about this jail last summer while I was looking through some old maps. I went and found it was still there but mostly forgotten by the majority of the locals. Except for the handful of kids which use it as an after-school hangout. There is a nasty water leak which has left several inches of water on the floor. A Little History: The first jail in town was a log building that was located in the same place as this building. The log jail caught fire and burned to the ground. As local legend goes, the Sheriff chained the inmates to the large oak trees in the park until this building could be built. Last time I went by to check on the jail it was surrounded by caution tape and fenced off.

I assume you mean how much of the original stuff is still there. The only thing is one of the cell doors. The building this backs up to was the fire department and extension of the jail. Supposedly there is more jail cells inside that building but the owner never contacted me back and the company that rents it wasn't too friendly.
