Kia Ora from New Zealand and our crew at urbexcentral.com
Here's the first of two videos shot at an abandoned bridge with a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition.

This bridge was originally built to replace a flying fox that transported workers and materials between flax mills on opposite sides of the river. When it was superseded and decommissioned, its deck structure was removed to prevent future use. Well, to prevent most future use, anyway...

Awesome, dude. Good to see NZ getting publicity considering I don't hear much about it on the urbex front.

Great structure, interesting history, stupid climb with no safety rigging though. Neko.

Thanks superphoenix. The Inspectres crew at urbexcentral.com has been very active with 340 posts this year alone. It's good to invest some time in getting to know the international urbex community better. And over the holidays, while I'm slowing the exploring pace a little bit to rest an injured knee, I've got some free time so I'll keep posting some of my favourite videos and stories here at an easy pace. If you are on Facebook, I am www.facebook.com/gunner.gunner.71 and am happy to be friends

Thanks Neko. Architecture and adventure is certainly what inspires me to climb and make short films, so I'm glad you enjoyed meeting the bridge. It looks very dramatic rising from the fields as you drive towards it
