| | | So, there is an abandoned mining mill that sits just west of Silver Plume, CO. It is fully visible just outside the city off of I-70, you can't miss it. Well, apparently any info on it is missing. I have done many searches online for information on it and have come up empty. No info, no photos, no videos. As far as I know, I have the only photos and videos of it posted online. I emailed the city of Silver Plume about it and the only info I got in the response was "It is owned by the Jack Pine Mining Company." I plan to email them about it but was wondering if any of you all have explored it or know any info on it. Thank you! Below are some photos of it so you know the building I am talking about. -Daniel- 1.

| | | As far as I know that operation is currently mothballed, as the owners have other profit generators. Similar to Climax in the 90s and early 2000s. They may produce on a small scale, but it's rather unusual to see any industrial activity there. I have seen vehicles and people on site more than a few times however.

That would make sense. It is in immaculate condition both inside and out. There is a lot of dust and debris inside, which made it seem like it has been unused for quite a while, and I could see operation there having stopped in the 80s or 90s. I've driven by it many times and have never seen a vehicle there yet. Thanks for the response! -Daniel-

| | | I've driven by it plenty of times, I'll have to pay better attention for anything going on there. Did you get any interior shots?
