"spiral staircase" not the location I was thinking... Any idea what this was used for? Interesting pics though

The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark.

Creepy! The staircase reminds me of the one from House of Leaves.

Good find! <3 Spiral staircases. I, for one, would not have been able to resist the urge to see what's at the bottom!

i don't know what a railroad switching station is, but this would be my best guess. i dropped a rock from the top. judging by the sound it made, the water is 12-18", and there's some space down there, like a tunnel.

will trade location details for other spots, but come strong.

You should have gone down on it. Get into the tunnels and post some shots and lets see what you've got. Location kinda seems interesting.

lol, "and i go down south, Louisiana".

it's three stories down, the staircase is unstable, the ladder was broken in two places, the water covers tons of debris, including rusty nails and glass. i'm going to check it again in the fall to see if the water level has changed. for safety, it's a two person venture.
