Hey from Central Florida

Hey all. I joined quite a few years ago but only lurked until now.

I became very active this year via Flurbex and then remembered that I had joined this forum many years ago and decided to come back and check out the larger scope of Urbex past my own home state.

I just recently started going out to Urbex multiple weekends a month and have found some amazing stuff to share. Sharing in both historical value and art photography.

I'm an avid cave diver and in all the remote places I travel I come across dozens of old structures long forgotten that I make lists of and go back to explore. I enjoy photography and enjoy sharing my findings through those photos.

I look forward to sharing with you all and learning some new photography ideas and techniques.

I have my art displayed on a few non-forum places, feel free to check them out. I'll be posting previews as well in the appropriate forums along with stories of my finds as I am able to.

Thanks and enjoy!

Completely... but it's why you go through a LOT of training.

Now its just total zen and relaxation to dive a cave (or anything really)

Wreck diving can be just as bad or worse, since you have extremely sharp metal that looks nice and soft. Both are amazing to do though once you've trained. The joy of 'UE' mixed with the quiet of diving.

Always wanted to learn to dive Tec/Wreck/Cave but just never made it happen. I've been a divemaster for 25 years but could never put together the time and money to seriously train and gear-up for Tec diving. I'm currently into abandoned mine exploring which is still pretty cool and much less expensive.

Wrecks are just caves with sharp edges and rust...and sharks. LOL

It's all overhead and dangerous if not properly trained.

The silence IS nice though

Also, there's no worry of crackheads waiting around ever corner of a wreck LOL.

Thanks!

There's nothing else like it. I highly recommend going down the tech route since you obviously love to dive and explore

Cavern training is a great place to start and can be done with most of what you probably already have.

Hey Joe, I'm one of the original Flurbex guys, used to explore with Nom before Flurbex was around. Been pretty inactive in recent years. I havent been on Flurbex in a few years but I'm on here from time to time. Hope to see some cool stuff from you.
