| | | | Thanks for the comments everyone. I cant take any credit for finding this location however, it was passed on to me by a good friend. And yes, it is absolutely full of trinkets. I would have poked around much longer in the embalming room but I hate to think about what spilled chemicals and crud I was breathing and kneeling in while setting up those shots. I may have to go back though, lots of stuff in drawers and laying about room I never got to see.

That's funny you say that, and so true. I have friends whose families are in the business and the amount of dedication to it and the pride they show for it is amazing. For black communities here in the south both urban and rural the job of funeral director was a very honorable and well respected one with good deal of social status attached to it. They tended to be businesses passed down and kept in the family.

I wish that were true where I lived. Here when I tell people that they get shocked, ask why or call me morbid. That whole being passed down to family members thing makes it REALLY hard to become an apprentice.
