|  | | | No abandoned building this time, but an abandoned street. This road ran across the space where 400 was built years ago. The road still exists on both sides of 400, it even still shows up on Google Maps. It sits right behind my condo and I finally went and checked it out today (sorry, all iPhone pics).
It has an interesting beauty to it, it's a tree-lined street with no access points (well, one, but not at this part). It's a nice escape from the city while still being in the heart of it.
It's not exactly the most photographable place, but there were chairs so I snapped those.
Quickly, it turns to a gravel road. Back in here there are two gardens started by people/persons unknown, one of which warns of poisonous snakes (presumably just to keep people out). Sorry, should've gotten a pic of that. Next time...
Almost feels as if you're out in the country.
Eventually you come to those big beige sound barriers. I found an easy way around them (the picture above is not it).
After going through some serious underbrush, you wind up sitting atop a giant wall overlooking the highway. I need to go visit the other side, it looks much easier to navigate than my side.
