	I'm gonna call this one the 'Leaning Tower of Virginia'. Built in 1903, and condemned in 2004, this building has served many purposes. I've been told the bottom floor was a jewelry store, then deli. The upper floors seemed to be lawyer's offices, but the building's name says it was also used as a banking office. Scaffolding was put up in the past few months, as the building is "unsafe to the public". Bricks from the roof are falling 100+ feet down onto the sidewalk and street. The building owner has actually been cited with 9 misdemeanors because of this hazard! Ironically, there are no plans to raze the building, as it is considered a historic structure. I'm convinced that when they gutted the floors, they took out some walls that were used to support upper floors. 1) Old Jewelry Store / Deli 2) 3) 4) 5) Lead Paint...Forgot my Respirator... 6) Beautiful... 7) Elevator Control 8) Fuse Box / Circuit Breaker 9) 10) Wooden Filing Cabinet 11) 12) Office Furniture / Vending Machine Coin Mechanism 13) Chair on Ledge of Elevator Shaft 14) I don't know how to explain the rope... 15) 16) "Imitation Grape" Drank 17) WalkingFumble 18) Lonely Chair 19) 20) 21) 22) Nearing the Top 23) Thirsty? 24) 25) Roof Access 26) 27) More Banking Offices 28) Naval Ships in Dry-dock 29) I think I can see my house from here (seriously). 30) Jimmy Johns! 31) "MacMall" 32) You can tell where it leaning away from the building on the left here. 	Sad. I saw this on my last trip down there, and I am still hoping that it can be saved or at least salvaged. Abandoned

	First post and I apologize it is not in the Rookie area. I will get to that at some point. WalkingFumble, you sir, did it again. We simply must do an explore or few. Picture 1 is the one I find most striking because of the light play. I realize you are inside, but with the way this structure is, I at first see it as the lit area is inside and you are outside looking in. Quite the play on light in my view.

It would have turned out way worse if 'the man' would have driven by as you tried to get back into your car that night. Everything turned out for the best in the end.
