Lions Gate Bridge

Hey all, hope there is somebody here who could provide me with some advice. I'm planning on climbing the lions gate bridge in Vancouver. I understand that on the north side, there is a maintenance ladder that goes up through the bridges metal suspense and brings you up to this location here:

here is where i'm trying to get to:

I scoped it out a bit and I know I have to get past a barbed wire fence to access the ladder. It does appear that the ladder only goes up as far as the platform directly under the bridge as seen in this video:

I know there is a section of this site showing another individuals trip up here, although it appears that the bridge was being worked on at the time and i'd imagine there was a lot of additional scaffolding and such that has since been removed.

Anybody have any additional guidance? I'll be sure to post photos of my journey afterwards.

My personal choice would be to go up the gut line. as they might have installed motion sensor inside the towers since the renos. If you scope the area well. I think the ladders your talking about just get you to bellow deck the deck. to access the ladder going up the tower, you need to go thru the doors at the roadway level.

Going up the gut line is a ballsy move as you will be in plain sight. It is also provably the fastest way up. So pick the time you are planning to go up carefully. and may i highly recommend taking a full body harness with a double landyard. Making the news for getting caught climbing it is one thing, making the news for falling off it... not as cool.

yeah aint no way i'm going up the gut line. Checked out the bottom of the bridge. No sensors it seems. Cool trip anyway. Still gonna try and find a way to get into the doors at the roadway level.
