| | | Welp, in typical TTC knee-jerk reation, security is going to be increased. Thanks for ruining it for the rest of us.

We've suddenly forgotten how to be stealthy and find other ways to get around security measures? Does a blog post with a bunch of pictures really shut down everything? Judging by the lack of dirt on their clothes, I'm guessing it was incredibly easy to gain access. Urban explorers sure don't seem to have the dedication that they used to.

You clearly have no idea how the TTC reacts to things like this. When Bay Lower was the spot everyone was visiting, the TTC reacted by installing cameras on the abandoned platforms and motion sensors in the tunnels. The TTC has already had enough headaches liability wise from this project and the injuries on it - you bet that they'll clamp down to keep the explorers out. Not saying that it'll be impossible, but it'll be much more difficult.

| | | I'm sure that is true. My point was that you don't know until you actually go to find that out for yourself, instead of simply declaring it ruined on the internet when you see a few photos on a blog site. It should be noted that people were going in Lower Bay for years until the TTC got serious about securing it. It had already been featured in Infiltration since about 2000 or 2001 and I don't think it was declared "impossible" until about 2003 or 2004. Where there's a will, there's more of a chance of a way. Urban Exploration appeals to the sense of adventure. There's no much adventure when you just give up.

Oh, I agree completely. But the exposure on Blog TO sure isn't going to help our cause and get those of us who want to see it down there.

There are plenty of cameras but they all belong to photographers.
The sign said "Anybody caught trespassin will be shot on sight" So I jumped on the fence and I yelled at the house, "Hey! What gives you the right?" http://www.flickr.com/photos/evman/ |
