|  | | | Hey all, I've been looking around (a.k.a. using google) and found a couple missile silos (titan 1 & 2) that I'm hoping to explore. I've heard rumors of asbestos and the like, so I'm bringing a respirator, but I can't find to much specific information on any potential hazards I might find. If anyone can give me any general information on what to look out for I would be extremely appreciative. Thanks in advance!

I would be mostly worried about the sometimes long fall into water, or more the point, the jagged rusty shit that sometimes lurks below. Titan II you won't have to worry about that though, silos were imploded in the 80's. Titan I is a great place to bring a few brews.

The nasty spiky shit at the end of a long fall does sound fairly unpleasant, question though: are all the silos flooded? I've heard rumors that a couple are, but does this apply to all of them?

Yeah, and Morlocks, ompalumpas, Slenderman, the easter bunny etc. They all have freaky orgies in them and don't like being disturbed by prudes.
They are depressions in the ground, some of them are wide open depressions in the ground. Where does water that doesn't evaporate right away eventually end up?
