i've been researching sites as i'm traveling to the area on monday aug 20. does oregon state hospital still have buildings to explore, or is it all new development. i seem to get conflicting reports on websites. looking at the maps, it looks like the old buildings have been torn down and replaced. but other sites say there are still buildings to explore. any help would be appreciated. private message me if you don't want to put info here. thanks.

Hey higgs,

If you're talking about this one http://en.wikipedi...gon_State_Hospital I don't know anything about it, other than at least parts of it are still active.

If you're in the Portland area, hit me up; I'll be available in the evening Monday (and the rest of the week, if you'll be here) for showing you the town.

The one located in Salem has been completely remodeled. Nothing left to explore unfortunately.

Thanks for the update on the hospital. That's what i thought. sad though. seeing pictures of what it looked like must have been awesome to explore. oh well...there are other sites to explore. now i can redirect my energy. thanks again.
