before i get peta or whoever on me i was jk.

i started out tonight to take a few more photos than i usually do. my first place was an old facade that ive always admired i took 2 pics and called it good. i then walked a few hundred yards to another old abandoned river house and snapped a few of the outside. i went in it the day before and honestly theres really nothing to see which was a surprise and a shame

wandering around the riverbank i end up where i always do. on a bridge. the only problem was it was only about 12:30 and i felt it was too early to go up since there is always people around until like after 2. so i decide to wander around for a while. like 15-30 minuets later i got tired of wandering. i wanted some adrenaline so i figured lets do it! i did my same routine as last thursday but even quicker. im getting pretty good and its funny how far ive come in under 2 months!

walking under the bridge i tell myself im going all the way across barge be dammed! 2 of them happen to go under the bridge tonight, 1 i hid from - the other i ran to so i could be over it it was pretty cool being on top of it like that. anyway a little past halfway across i came upon a protected peregrine falcon nest. they are the fastest animals on earth so thats pretty cool. i didnt disturb them - i took a quick no flash pic and was on my way.

when you are under the bridge you are walking on metal grating about 2 feet wide with railing on both sides. the only thing is the thing is shaking pretty good the whole time. it def adds a bit of excitement. if that wasnt enough as im walking along about 75-100 feet above the water i hear a loud crack and i freeze. a piece of the walkway broke under my feet and that really got me going. if i wasnt supporting some of my weight with my arms on the rail i may have fell through!

after i got the poop out of my pants i continued on. when i finally get to the indiana side i just turned around and started going about 2-3 times faster across than before. i couldve gotten off there and walked across another bridge but that would be lame i figured esp since i love it up there.

ok so heres where the real excitement comes in. im just trotting along feeling on top of the world. not even thinking there would be someone at the construction site. well right as i go to get down i see tail lights. oh shit! i literally hit the floor in under a second. wtf are they doing here and why are they pointing right at me???? theres like 4 or 5 guys walking around right where i am & looking up and pointing right where i am. did they see me? are the cops in route? im thinking of my options. go back across and get off in indiana, try to make it down unseen/heard, try to make it down as fast as possible and run, or wait it out. well after thinking for a while i said fuck it and went down the scaffolding as fast as i could, hopped the fence and booked lol. i wonder if they saw me? oh well i guess ill never know. i bet they did but it all happened so fast they were probably like wtf was that???

anyway i did it!!! and i did it all. ive been everywhere on there that youre not supposed to go. yay me! heres the pics of the night.

Tip for your next post: leave a couple lines between each pic. Since a lot of them are in the dark, they ran together a bit.

Cool explore.

Edit: I see what you did there. Better.
