| | | I'm a little new to the idea of Urban Exploration as a hobby, and BRAND new to this site, but here is something I've used a few times in the past... Some cities have information either online or at city record buildings concerning abandoned buildings/property. Boston, for example, has a very extensive list of property, including an interactive map of the location. http://www.cityofboston.gov/dnd/U_Abandonment_Survey.asp I'm not sure about all the cities though, as I can not find any lists for my hometown (Chicago), but I have not yet ended my search (any help would be appreciated). Usually you can just search on google for "Abandoned buliding survey" and then the city of your choice. Other times you need to look through the city website, but most of the time you can find things pretty easily. Well, hope this was helpful to some people, glad to hear any feedback.
If a thing is worth doing, it's worth doing right. |

| | | Either that or the Urban Exploration News...meaning those small local newspaper, with only few pages. Those seem to advertise constantly at least here, soon to be demolished buildings and sometimes also abandoned buildings. They give out the address and all. It does make the actual task of finding a place a bit too easy, but if someone provides me that information, I'm certainly going to use it.
