I was going to say the opposite. I don't know what you were going for in 1, but 2 and 3 are more interesting. I'm guessing there's some kind of story to go with the room? 2 is well exposed and the focus is perfect, and 3 is great except for the reflection on the picture frame. In order to avoid that sometimes I shoot at a low angle and then just stretch everything back into a square image later on in Photoshop.

Thanks for the advice, that reflection was killing me, i never thought of trying that, i assume i could do the same to avoid shadows?

^hahaha

I like 1, although it seems like maybe it could use a bump in contrast. Not sure about that, it just seems a bit flat somehow. I also would have moved that box on the left out of the shot, but that's more of a personal preference.

The composition on 3 is a little eh. The framed picture is centered vertically; I think the shot might looks better if your framed it further down the wall.

They're great, I'm having trouble thinking of any suggestions! I suppose maybe a tighter crop on the first one might eliminate some sorta dead space. But really it's just fine as is.

I agree about the contrast on the first two. Nice but seem flat to me

Thanks,

I see what you're saying about the first feeling a bit flat
And I know what you mean about the box, I find it distracting myself looking back at it

When you sat centered vertically for #3, you mean taking the shot at more of an angle down the wall instead of straight on? thanks again

I meant straight on but from a lower vantage point, so we could see more of the wall below the molding and the framed picture would be off-center to the upper right side. That's really just personal preference, though; I am certainly not a composition expert by any stretch.

Don't touch the contrast. The first one needs a little lightening in key areas. The second could use a little softer highlights. The last one is really dark and I hate the reflection in the glass. I would have just taken the glass out.
