New to Tucson

Hi all! I just moved to Tucson from Idaho and will be here for the next 6 months.

I am living a few miles east of the University of Arizona and am excited to get out and see the city/surrounding areas. If anyone wants to meetup to explore, message me or respond here.

It'd be fun to have a meet-up with locals too, if one isn't already in the works.

I don't think there's much in Tucson. If you ever make it up to Phoenix, let me know. You could check out the Titan II museum, though.

Sounds good. I may be spending a few days around Phoenix this coming weekend. It'd be fun to get a small group together or some-such-thing.

Hey friend,

Truth be told, Im in tucson myself (at the university) & have been here for bout a year, there is some stuff thats worth exploring, there is an abandoned railyard out there somewhere. The problem with Tucson you'll quickly find. Is A: there arent many of us here. and B: There are alot alot ALOT of hobos and some gangs. The hobos are usually nice enough. I met one a month ago that wanted to teach me dark magic (as you would imagine, I politely declined) and informed me that seattle is a great place to find a girlfriend.....I was with my gf....she was not amused. Haha but hey welcome! We can set something up sometime, but I fear they may not be much too see

Yeah! I ran into a hobo taking a shit right off the corner of Broadway Blvd. and Scott Ave. on Sunday right after the rain. He wiped front to back - I was impressed.

It'd be fun to see what's here. And, well, hobos come with the territory (although, truth be told, Tucsonan gangs in abandonments kinda creeps me out), so, letsdoit!
