Doors Open (Send Crits)

A few shots from Doors Open weekend, a little late I know. Both Doors Open locations and some other shots as well. Critique the photos as you see fit, thanks! I'm just looking to improve. Better quality pictures are on either my Flickr or Tumblr.

My eyes are bleeding from re-sampling performed on these images.

Ignoring whatever weirdness is going on with the resampling...1. I like all those lines and little spots of light. The color bugs me though, not sure why. It just seems too brown and the lack of stuff going on at the bottom makes it seem a bit top heavy. 2. I don't care much for the odd angle at all. 3. well composed. Just wish that little bit of the red thing was not cut off on the side. 4. Also a cool shot but would like to see the top of that fence post 5. Nice cityscape, also happens to be one of my favorite cities to visit

How can you post #3 without realizing that it looks like total shit? The resizing killed all of these photos, but #3 is just ludicrous. There's not much sense in commenting on anything else about the photos until you fix them.

They look decent beneath what the easy uploader did to them. Honestly the damage done makes it hard to even judge the lines, but they seem like they could be decent. Exposure is good.

Ghastly. Unless that's the look you wanted? At least its not clown-vomit HRD too! Neko.

Great composition. I'm hoping it's just this site that makes them look choppy and pixellated if not your pictures are jacked up.

I really didn't like the coloration of the first one, but I guess thats sort of unavoidable given that type of lighting. Number two was a breath of fresh air, color wise, I much prefer natural lighting, and rust and turquoise go really well together to my eye. Plus, angle formed between the central struts coinciding with the space between the two semi-symmetrical walkways is really nice. I would really like four if the right hand post wasn't cut off. Maybe its just the graininess of the UE uploader but the city looks sort of weathered and gives it a slightly post-apocalyptic feel, which I actually think is awesome.
I don't really care for the third though, but the red/white/blue color contrast is eye catching.

Thanks everybody, I'm not sure why the resampling is so bad, possibly just because the originals are too big.
@Ave Pita, i wasnt really thinking about that post, i should have gotten it in the shot.
I encourage you to check out my flickr, the images are crisp.

Images would look good if they were fixed, not sure what you did there. Far too sharp or something.
