| | | To be honest I have no idea what color mapping is, but I don't like how these look. They all have weird blurry blobby bits that are unnatural and distracting. #5 is particularly atrocious; it's kind of funny to see a watermark on something like that. I'd be more helpful if I could. The first photo is the closest to being visually appealing. P.S. the last one is crooked. [last edit 6/6/2012 1:15 PM by ahhntzville - edited 1 times]

| | | Why? I would spend more time on basic composition skills first. Rather than secondary 'enhancements'. Neko.

That's my actual response to about 90% of the threads in this forum; I just get tired of repeating it.

| | | Oh... well... maybe if you... No these suck sorry. People put way too much emphasis on editing your pictures to the point where they look really abstract, they don't take the time to just take a picture that can stand on its own. I usually only edit my photo's a tiny bit, to make them a little less blown out and slightly more saturated.

| | | keep shooting and keep posting #6 level it out, i feel like i'm going to fall off the picture All the others all I ask is why did you want to take that photo? Even though you're using a digital act as if you're shooting film. (limited ammo) Yeah it's an old piece of machinery, but I can't tell what it is. Give your subject some room to breathe. I'm sure the wall behind the machine thing had some neat texture to it, incorporate that into your photo. Turn that flash off (looks like you used one...?), get a tripod and use natural light. | | | Almost looks like it was shot with a 2mp camera and then "Blur" filter applied in photoshop. I cant see any quality in colours, sharpness or detail. I mean if you like that look then thats cool, but as far as personal opinion its not working for me.
