Me and a friend made a visit to an old town in east GA yesterday...

Plantation House

Community Center

Tucked away back there is an old church organ. I took a better picture of it but it was blurry.

That plantation house is outstanding even though it's empty. Nice find!

Great set of pictures. I love that plantation house.

I was surprised when I was there (a week ago) that someone had brought in that rocking chair, that all of the doors and many of the windows were open, and that there was lumber lying on some of the floors. I wondered if they were getting ready to begin deconstruction or maybe fix it up.

I haven't found the community center yet. I like your pictures from around the center of town.

this is a great set! but.. what was the crown royal box for? 3 ball bearings?

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store.

I was curious too, I had no idea they made liquor and ball bearings. What a great combination...

After I visited the plantation on Sunday morning (pictures in other post), I drove around the town that is near by. I now know where the community center is. I didn't enter, saved that for a later date.

What, no exterior shots of the plantation house?

The plantation house looks like it has some amazing woodwork in it. I love the older houses that show true craftsmanship instead of just a house thrown together.

Gorgeous set! I'd love to see an exterior of the house if you've got one.
