|  | | | Unfortunately, I was unable to see the whole site or get any good photos. A thunderstorm was rolling in and when I looked down as I was stepping into the house, hordes of ticks were crawling up my pants. I sprinted the fuck out of there.

-Use a bug spray with Deet in it on your lower half
It wont stop all the ticks, but it will keep some of them off.

I bought some a while back, but was always afraid of using it for a similar reason. I don't want kitteh getting anywhere near the clothes I would have sprayed.

I just deal with it, maybe spray some deet but I often forget to, you gotta spray it every few hours this time of year of you sweat it off.
When they do attach I remove them by pulling the head with tweezers, or if its a larger tick I can just pull it by hand. I have found that all the folk remedies to get it off are either total b.s., do not work as well as tweezers, or do more harm than good.
