| | | Unfortunately, I was unable to see the whole site or get any good photos. A thunderstorm was rolling in and when I looked down as I was stepping into the house, hordes of ticks were crawling up my pants. I sprinted the fuck out of there. 1.

| | | -Tuck pants in boots -Use a bug spray with Deet in it on your lower half It wont stop all the ticks, but it will keep some of them off.

| | | No didn't find other buildings. Just the stable and house. I'm real close to this location so I plan on full explore soon. Now I've got more to look forward to.

| | | Treat your clothes with permethrin the night before you go out. That stuff will kill any ticks that get on you.

I bought some a while back, but was always afraid of using it for a similar reason. I don't want kitteh getting anywhere near the clothes I would have sprayed. [last edit 6/5/2012 4:00 AM by WalkingFumble - edited 1 times]

| | | Once it's dry it's fine. Just don't spray it on them. Unless they have a tendency to lick your clothes a lot. [last edit 6/6/2012 11:07 PM by The FNG - edited 1 times]

| | | I like the ticks, they keep other people out of the woods. I just deal with it, maybe spray some deet but I often forget to, you gotta spray it every few hours this time of year of you sweat it off. When they do attach I remove them by pulling the head with tweezers, or if its a larger tick I can just pull it by hand. I have found that all the folk remedies to get it off are either total b.s., do not work as well as tweezers, or do more harm than good.
The nightmare corpse-city of R'lyeh…was built in measureless eons behind history by the vast, loathsome shapes that seeped down from the dark stars. There lay great Cthulhu and his hordes, hidden in green slimy vaults. |

| | | I hate anything that sucks your blood. Seriously paranoid about it. Don't like the idea of it. Ticks, Mosquito's, Leeches. All the good stuff.
