|  | | | Looking for rogue mountain bike trails in 2011 somewhere in the West End off an old rail line my friends and I happened on this building.

I have more pictures somewhere, we climbed through a bunch of a holes and tried to put our caving skills to good use. There was an old elevator that seemed to be working and a checkout sheet with the times it had been serviced. A great view o the city when we climbed out of a hatch to the top and up some metal stairs to a walkway.
What is this place? I saw mention in the publicly available listings of a site (was it Decontaminated Plating or something?) that had a large pit. This place also had a really deep pit, so I was thinking that it might be the same location. Who else has been here and what do you know about it? Thanks.
This is my first post here - I've been a lurker for a while - so I am sorry if I am not doing something right. Just let me know :/

All right, chime in time.....
Well, in the West End off some RR tracks it's not Decontaminated Plating. Hard to tell from the pics but it seems to be some type of recycling operation. PM me more location information and I can get you more details. Anyway good job on this, I like the big control panel pic looks like the power is still on. Guys even got some roof shots looks like you had some fun there.
