| | | CPH Metro < on 3/29/2012 3:04 PM >
| | | The CPH metro runs driverless robo-trains 24/7. Because of the lack of human awareness at the controls, combined with the common Danish practice of unlimited beer with payment of cover charge and the lack of motor skills and coordination that result, the system requires platform doors. This just makes it more interesting, especially when attempting to pass by a station. I had been putting this off the whole time I was living in Denmark, so on my last night, Christmas eve, I hit up this untouched system. Went straight from the metro to the airport to meet my family, certainly the only person at the airport bleeding and covered in metro dust. Mmm.

Security is relatively light for a metro system, its the logistics that make it challenging. Robo-trains means you wont get seen by a driver, but also won't stop if you get caught in its way. Getting past the stations is just dirty and leaves you at risk of death by blunt force electrocution Never had to deal with danish police, so i have no clue. You don't see many cops around copenhagen because danes tend to follow the rules, but you never know. the ones that are around might be hard asses or they might buy you a beer. also hell yeah Seeker, fun times.
