|  | | | Long time lurker, first time contributing. One of my favorite spots around though. Pictures don't do justice to the scale of the wilderness feeling you get here.
Just ended up lucking into easy access here, so wandered around and took pictures for a while - until I got the attention of a nearby police helicopter. Didn't get a chance to play around down at the bottom much, there was a city truck down there near the pump equipment.
Sorry for the quality of the pics - I'm no photographer, and everything was done with my phone, which managed to corrupt most of the good pictures by the time I got home.

| | | | I and others were here a few weeks ago. Got busted by a rather nice security guard who just told us to leave for our own safety. I mainly want to go back to check out the buildings around the quarry itself and some of the machinery that I didn't get to see. The quarry itself is cool too though.
