Well, how do you define a "potentially dangerous" star? What does it take?

How many people on this forum are really "potentially dangerous" anyway? One? Two? Is there really a point to having a star for that?

Is there really a point in having an annoying star? no. so a potentially dangerous star is almost as useless.

What is being asked for here [It seems to me] is a 'Potentially Dangerous' star.

No. Stop it. We don't need UER witch hunts. If you are around the forum and read it enough, it'll become very obvious who is to be trusted and who isn't.

Also, the way I see it, the trusted star is an affirmative opposite of what you're suggesting, and that's enough IMO.

Don't get me wrong... I side with Snipz0r here - the annoying star is useless and I'm sure a 'potentially dangerous' star would be just as useless.

I was simply clarifying what was being asked and why.

/Too many stars anyways.

We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit.

If there is an "I attended OPEX" star for next year, perhaps there could be two stars; one for people that attended, and another star, possibly just another colour, for people that helped organize the meet so they get recognized. Discuss.

I think the 'Potentially Dangerous' star would be far more valid and useful than a 'I attended the second OPEX' star, but it's quite clear to me that my opinion is not valid on this forum.

NVK, your opinion is plenty valid and I wholeheartedly agree with you.

I would like to second the notion of a "Potentially Dangerous" or "Traitor" star.

If you're not going to ban these people like they deserve, at least brand them with something to let the public know that they're not to be trusted.

There is no point in making a "Potentially Dangerous" star because there is nobody to whom it would be given.

Exactly. Nobody on here is "dangerous"...unless someone has found a way to reach through the million of miles of cable and fiberoptics that seperate the users on this board and stab them in the face, noone on this board is a danger to you.

I understand that you want a way of recognizing "BPM-ish" behaviour (Not an indication of my own opinion of BPM, btw) but it's childish and pointless.

Someone might not be able to reach through cables and stab you in the face, but someone could call the cops for B&E, get you arrested and in jail you get stabbed with something a lot worse in a place more tender than your face.

Think about it.

Take some personal responsibility. If you're stupid enough to give out enough information for that to to happen, then you probably deserve to go to jail. Urban Exploration, and UER both operate one one very basic principle,

keeping your mouth shut.

your opinion is valid but when you start making posts just because u dont like what BPM did then that opinion gets thrown out the window. theres already been enough flaming and talk and fighting over the BPM incident. im sick and tired of people who keep bringing this topic up in completely unrelated threads. and for some of us what MikeD did would be 'potentially dangerous' to UE and UErs in general.

Exactly. I'll admit, I think(*cough*know*cough) that you just want this because of the whole thing with BPM. Fucking get over it.

Certain people need to stop whining about BPM, there have been more than enough threads about this issue, and it's quite tiresome to listen to you crying about something that may or may not have happened, that doesn't affect you. I'm going to delete any further off-topic post of this nature.

Turn off the internet and go play outside.

I was not refering to any past quarrell. I was just saying you have a trusted star, so why not show who could be a possible problem.
