Along the banks of the Salton Sea lies a mysterious place that few know about. This rusty wonderland is said to be linked somehow to the situation room. http://www.uer.ca/...ow.asp?locid=28706 One thing is known. Those that enter will never come out the same.

I'm guessing you're talking about Salvation Mountain. The two are about a mile apart in the area known as slab city. If Salvation Mountain is the boarder of one end East Jesus would be at the other end. East Jesus means middle of nowhere and isn't religious based.

Slab city was exactly what I was referencing. I have some friends that used to make an annual camping trip out to Slab city. They have hundreds upon hundreds of photos showing similar pieces of "art". They said its a really neat area with lots of really nice people. It seems like a great place to photograph. But thanks for sharing the few you did and I'm looking forward to more!

Cool place! I like the televisions.

Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.

Earthworm is closely associated with this place.

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.
