Old Seneca Mill

Hey everyone! I've been a lurker on the site for a while now so this is my first actual post. I biked about seven miles to get to the mill, parked my bike down a hill by the creek, and went around the back of the mill. After walking around for a bit, I was able to find a way past the fence and into the mill. I'm planning on returning with a friend and checking out the other floors and the basement at a later date. I'm also going to go earlier in the day so I can spend more time looking around and hopefully get better pictures of various interior rooms.

As for pictures I did the best I could with my phone and an oldish digital camera. I enjoy taking pictures but at this point I don't have a great camera.

SafetyScissors, I'm in your area, PM me and we can check out some places. I'm hard pressed to find explorers that are relatively very close by.

The mill, don't want to mention the exact name, but there's been talks of having it turned into senior living, at one point there was talks of turning it into student housing (that tanked of course), but the owner is the guy who runs Jockey-Lot, if you know what that is. Him and a bunch of investors have some plans for the building in the not too distant future. There's one camera, by the building, but I don't think anyone really checks it unless something drastic happens to the building.

That tower is gorgeous. Any access to the top?

Yes however I only had time to explore the bottom floor since I didn't want to bike back in the dark. I'm planning going to the other floors when I make a return visit.
