Don't Call It Anything

So Chris-Kicker, My son, and I went to do some scouting for an old narrow gauge railroad that is over 100 years old. While out we came across this the neat old house. It was completely empty, which was a shame, but it was still a beautiful house. This is also my time editing my pics, I didn't do much just color adjusting and cropping. Enjoy.

1. Doorbell

2. The beautiful garage.

3. The built a cellar into the boulder.

4. The door for the rooms above the garage.

5. The garage.

6. A bit late on being updated, also its the wrong state.

7. This was one of two rings was attached to the wall.

8. The light outside the garage.

9. The patio

10. The front door of the house

11. Sad little birdbath

12. The fireplace was the only interesting inside.

Thanks, Childish Gambino is the reason I can't attend your event. The first stop on the Camp Gambino tour is in ATL on the 16th.

what an odd little house. the boulder cellar is really cool. Color correction looks really good. Any idea how old the place is?

I was going to say, MPB, you've made some improvement!
October '96 was right around my 7th birthday. Nice find; there's a very old-timey Dutch cottage kind of feeling about it. Hope you both found your intended goal.

I'm not entirely sure how old the place, but knowing the area i would put it around a 30's era house. Hopefully I will go back and get better pictures of the place, its a cool little place.

Thank you, its amazing what a difference editing makes! Unfortunately I was unable to get a decent picture of the house, but it is a very Dutch/Bavarian looking house. October '96 I turned 10! haha. Sadly we didn't find we were looking for, so it looks like more research is needed to find out more.

That cellar is ridiculously cool. Nice shots and nice location! It's a shame they didn't leave any cool stuff behind inside.

So..... beautiful I wish I could live there

Then I took home in the decay, and I learned that beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.

This was eaten up by one of the parks. Around here there are tons of abandoned houses and mills in the forest and parks, the government bought all the land and once people died off their property went to the government, just like Elkmont in the Smokies, except that is a bit of an attraction in the park.

I'm really tempting to find the owners and try and get this place, it would be an amazing house. The hobbits kept blocking my shots, so I throw a ring down the side of the mountain and they chased it.

Next time you come up, I will take you to it. If I buy it you can live in the boulder cellar.

Putting in some wiring and plumbing, and making a nice hearth in the center for heat would a beyond badass dwelling make.

It may be a bit cramped with all of you in there! But if I get the place I will only let you all live, if and only if, you promise to live your lives like Hobbits.
