So please excuse this. But I'm wondering if I'm the only one to deal with this kind of thing? Excuse me while I pull an MHinc moment here. ;) Recently I was confronted on one of my location postings about how it was "pointless" and a "waste of space" because I wouldn't give out the co-ordinates. Now I did have a reason - the location had several valuables inside it and I didn't want to have to disclose information like that esp. when I had the owners permission to be in there and I didn't want a bunch of people going onto the property. So this person (who has only a few WEEKS of experience on aforementioned site) starts calling me out on all this stuff. And when I reply to their accusations they start calling me out on how "rude" I am and such, when simply I just mentioned I didn't appreciate what she had said. Anyways, I'm done now... Grr, people annoy me. Or one in the DB? In the DB...coordinates should be there. Just because if you are putting it in then you shouldn't have a die-hard attachment to it anyways. If it is just a place you posted in a thread then tell them to piss off. You were posting pictures in a thread to show people what you found and so they can enjoy seeing it, even if its just in photos. There are a couple of places I have posted in the south that mean a lot to me and if anyone ever asked for the coords for them I would say absolutely not. So don't worry about people freaking out about shit like this. It doesn't matter. But on that site co-ordinates aren't required. That's why I didn't post it on THIS site. Because I knew everyone would want to go see it...
