Hi - - I am heading out to the Olympic Peninsula next weekend. I am going out there mainly to visit the ol' HO (rain forest, that is..lol..not the ol worn out hooker).....but would love to explore along the way (Lynnwood area thru Port Angeles and out to the coast near La Push). Last time I was out that way this is all I could find in terms of abandoned property.

I think your best bets would be the towns on the way to the Ho, like Aberdeen and Hoquiam. I don't know of any particular locations off hand, but they are pretty old towns and probably have a few abandoned houses or restaurants/shops to explore. If you go all the way up to Forks, I remember seeing a potential farmhouse/barn right off of the main road, but I didn't have a chance to check it out (pretty easily viewable, recommended nighttime exploration).

Honestly, I can't think of anything particularly incredible or must see over that way, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Good luck in your search!

Thanks...yeah, i'll be heading straight over from Edmonds area - - not down south by Abderdeen this time. I will be around Forks/La Push....and you can bet I will probably get in a wreck from looking for old stuff on the side of the roads.....lol
