|  | | | While composing posts (especially those with pictures) I often use the Preview! feature repeatedly. As a result my posts often wind up having a few extraneous carriage returns at the bottom. Naturally, I forget to clean them up before clicking Post. I'm hesitant to edit these posts afterwards, but I don't like the wasted vertical space this causes.
Next time you're dabbling in the code Av, would you mind adding a couple of lines to trim this stuff out? The forum pages are so eye pleasing, it makes me cringe a bit whenever I see the layout messed up by spastics like me.

bah. i tried to harass av to get him to actually put space there at the end of the post because i don't like how the signature rides on the ass of the paragraph you just wrote. I like my space. I don't like signatures caving in on my post it makes me claustrophobic. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

I see your point actually. Perhaps standardizing on one blank line at the end of each post might be most eye pleasing? Like this?
[Edit: Oops! Looks like a non-issue unless you type enough text to extend your post beyond the bottom of your avatar, so I must blather on some more. Perhaps I should start one of those useless poll threads on the issue, setting a new low in the triviality department?]

Can't say I like the bigger pictures that much either. Short posts (less than 4 or 5 lines, and there are a lot of them) have a left part way taller than the right, producing even more of that evil whitespace.
I must have done something very bad to deserve this...

| | | | The spacing is fine, its easier on the eyes to have the posts nice and spaced out, rather than crowded together in a page of solid text.
For example, I find the UER GUI much easier on the eye than the Infiltration GUI, personally I think it is largly due to the spacing.
