|  | | | I am going on tour and have a day off in western OH.
I know Cincy and Dayton are grimey places, not unlike the places I come from, and from driving through and playing in them, can see that they must have some gems.
If anybody could recommend a good place or two to visit in this area would you please PM me and save me a few hours of research on google maps and all that. Thank you much.

I know cincy is pretty run down, and have a strong belief in the drive around tactic. The only factor against it in my context is being on a music tour with very little money so I am trying to keep driving to a minimum, and trying to have distinct destinations.
but if it comes down to it, its gotta be done =)

Glencoe Hole, neighborhood of 60+ abandoned row houses, heavy decay in some and sketchy floors, but prime location for exteriors and if you're into residential.

There's some Juicier locations, but I'd rather not post in a public thread. Same with addresses. Crosley building you can just find easily enough without leaving the highway, but Send a PM if you need more info.

I don't remember where it was except that it as somewhere in Cinci. It was easily my favorite place in the area but I'm guessing it was since torn down. Can anyone confirm that?

The property itself is abandoned, but there's a few active places close to it. On the south side there is some houses, to the east, right across the street, is some kind of business (auto shop I think). Also, the new school building is just a few hundred yards away to the north. I've been in twice, during summer when school's out, and have never had problems with people. I've even parked right behind the school. I would recommend parking at the new school and walking over.

I was by this school yesterday and all the windows and doors have been removed from the north building; the same in the south building but all the openings are covered with plastic. Looks like asbestos remediation in preparation for demolition. Access to the north building would be very easy right now.

The next day, a couple awesome UE friends happened to be passing through, so we hit up a bunch of them. Still had some left on the list when we ran out of time.
