in the Pirate radio thread, I posted a totally , non agressive, on topic, legitamate question only to get deleted by UEM tux how is this post against the rules and bad enough to be deleted

its on topic

and a legit question

Posted by BigPoppaMikey
As far as I know, pirate radio is usually from a van or boat off-shore. This way the can move around and not get caught by the FCC. I doubt you will ever find a real pirate radio station. Ignore those websearches for them also saying this is their address, blah, blah, blah. If they were illegal, then the FCC would of had them long ago.

And how does one go about reporting these types of radio stations, Do you call the cops in that town or go right to the FCC??

I think im very correct on this one even if " Personally " you don't like it

There was a reason - it is automagically sent to you in a private message by the system (masquerading as the moderator that deleted the message). If you look through that message carefully, you will see a reason given there.

According to the reason given by the mod that deleted the message, you were asked to take your comment to a private message. Given what has happened in the recent past, it's easy to believe that your post couldn't have been taken any way but personally.

Now, you can also easily say it had nothing to do with what has happened in the recent past, but... are you familiar with the story of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"?

The thread was about finding pirate radio stations, not reporting them to the police. Stop trying to provoke people and make your stabs at BPM in private if you insist upon doing so. It is extremely obvious that this is exactly what you are doing and you have zero intention of hoping for information about the question you asked.

how is asking a question about something bpm says he does break the rules, i understand why my post was deleted, i fully expected it to be, even after my feeble attempt to make it stay on topic but mike asked a legitimate question. No matter how offended some of you may have been by that question due to recent events i can not see how it broke any rules. Are past threads and past wars always going to affect ones posts just because someone doesnt like it or think its just an insult in disguise.

For whatever reason, BPM is shown a TREMENDOUS amount of favoritism. Why? I don't know. I myself have been told to "take it to PM", when I , too, challenged the statements made by BPM. I violated none of the posting rules.

Why not add a new rule:

The moderators shall at all times be vigilant, and tenacious, in removing ANY, AND ALL, postings which might antagonize Big Poppa Mikey. If moderators receive ANY communication from BPM where he feels he is being picked on, maligned, antagonized, or in ANY WAY made to feel uncomfortable, It shall be the duty of moderators to IMMEDIATELY remove said posting and the antagonist shall be told to: "take it to PM". By doing so BPM will be protected from the scrutiny of the UE population. Whether BPM is being an antagonist, hypocrite, or breaking other posting rules is NOT RELEVANT.

Why is BPM such a favorite of the moderators anyway? The favoritism afforded this individual is ridiculous. I feel that somebody like BPM needs to be taken to task for his statements, and actions. BPM has taken, in my opinion, actions that are treacherous. I, personally, have been in places, and situations, where the actions he took would at the very least get you an ass beating- at worst they could get you killed. Some of the members here are perhaps a bit naive where BPM is concerned. I feel that such an individual should be held accountable for such hypocritical statements, and actions. He needs to be challenged, in the light of day, not shrouded in the privacy of PM's. Let the general membership decide, through rational discussion.

If no forum rules are broken, Let BPM defend himself. Quit protecting him. This is the classic example of the person who, "can dish it out- but can't take it". He needs to have his, "feet held to the fire". He has brought this on himself- why not let him defend, or explain, himself?

BPM is not a favorite or something. It's just that the moderators are sick of watching flamewars go back and forth. Search for a thread about Mike Dijital and ebay and read it. I don't want to have to watch another arguement brew from those sets of incidents. All of them have already been addressed in their respective threads, so I will not go into them here.

If you have comments or questions that are of use to the public audience and are on the topic of the thread, post them pleae.

If you are obviously trying to start a war or just stab at someone and what you are saying will eventually result in a bunch of flames and off-topic shit, don't whine when it gets deleted and you are advised to take it to private means.

This issue is closed.
