Rain day+new camera

I finally got a DSLR and have been excited to take it out, so when I got rained out of work the other day, me and my brother checked out this abandoned warehouse in Indianapolis.

I don't know anything about this place except that currently there are 3 people and a dog that live there lol.

As we were getting closer to the door in picture #7 we were finding more and more trash so we knew someone had to live there. As soon as I took picture #7, I saw movement behind the paper door out of the corner of my eye. I was expecting to see a homeless person, but instead a little mean ass terrier, who we later found out was named "Batman", came running out barking and trying to kill us. We ran back down the stairs and back to where we came in at like little girls.

We had only been there 20 minutes and I still wanted to look around, so we stayed down stairs and explored. About 30 minutes later we heard someone yelling "Hello", so we yelled "Hello" back, and started making our way to the voice. That's where we ran into the short guy in the last picture and another guy. They were the current residents.

At first I don't think they liked us being there because some kids had broke in and set fire to some shit not to long ago, but once we explained we were just curious about the building and just exploring they were cool. They were even offering to take us up in their "Hobo lair" to show us around but that didn't sound too safe to me, so we told them we were on our way out. That's when the one asked if we wanted a picture with him so of course we said yes!

Check out my Flickr page if you want to see more photos from this place.

I too am interested in where this is, though I have a feeling I've seen it in my travels.
