Yeah, there appears to be an entire community called Guerrero Viejo there that had been underwater, but has surfaced in recent years. If you go to Google Maps, you can see the building shells and streets:

Oh wow, I would so love to go see that church! And I've def heard of the town. I know some people who are from that area. Now I want to go check it out, anyone have a boat? lol Thanks for posting, that is awesome!

They mentioned an oklahoma one. It's near lake texoma.

I wish one of our lakes would dry up enough to see what's in it but it's our water source. They recently pulled a car from it though! Wonder what else is lurking down there???

id love to go check it out, but tha drug wars going on right now in that area is no joke. heard to much about it lately. even had a few friends get kidnapped.

I agree about it being dangerous. I hadn't realized that it was in that area. That stuff is even going on in Brownsville, which my cousin has witnessed a killing while on the way home. It's crazy and stupid!!! Great pics though. Still would love to go there, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
