|  | | | Hey, I'm new here (NYC and UER) but I've been doing my research. I have a list of places I want to check out, a list of stuff to bring, a list of ways to get out of bad encounters, etc. I want to get out there and see things but I don't have anyone to go with, and I'd rather not go alone. Sounds like asking for trouble. So I realize it's terribly sketchy to ask random people on the internet to go somewhere abandoned with me, but that's what I'm doing. I'd love to go into the tunnels (Freedom would probably be a good start), out to Yonkers or Rockaways, etc. So if you want to cart an enthusiastic newbie around, I'm your girl.

| | | | lots of great spots just an hour away. also you'd be surprised by what queens has to offer. just be careful with NYPD... They treat everything like a serious threat. I've had some interesting encounters with cops and guns. lol Have fun and always play safe!

Protip: If you've done research, you should do a tiny bit more, find nyc explorers via social networking, local site boards, etc - get to know a few online first and you'll be well on your way. Then meet your new potential exploring buddies somewhere public so you'll know if they're really just scary nerds with lots of guns like that Radio2600 guy.
